The geographic but especially the cultural character of the western entrance of the city, which for years had been in a declining state, is back in the spotlight as after significant investments, vision and a distinct momentum, is being redefined as the nexus between western and eastern Greece.

And that is the actual name of the first and most prominent building of this transformation. HUB26, a hub that literally connects the west with the east but more so the historical past with a promising and sustainable future. This new office complex is the first large-scale bioclimatic park in Northern Greece, aiming for LEED GOLD certification, brings forth the initiative for the construction of more environmentally friendly buildings in the future.

IN HARMONY WITH HISTORY

The building was designed in such a way that it preserves the aesthetics of the industrial era that characterizes the area but at the same time it manages to bring a minimalist and totally modern touch to the whole project. Nothing could represent this industrial appearance better than the ESSENCE W67BS HI² as the minimal lines combined with the special solutions provide the perfect balance between looks and performance

ENVIRONMENTAL ORIENTATION

With LEED GOLD certification, could only be described as a "green" building, with the entire complex leading the way in environmental and energy upgrade of the area. The ELVIAL FS50 facade , fully in line with modern green building, was the ideal candidate to complete the decorative elements. With solutions that cover both straight lines and curves throughout the building, the appearance is seamlessly integrated with energy performance.

INVITATION FROM THE FUTURE

The major project for the renovation of the western gate is a huge step in the evolution of the city and the truly significant changes it will bring are an invitation from the near future. With the building of the historic Greek brewery FIX reviving across the street, and intense construction in the surrounding area, HUB26 stands out as the ultimate ambassador of the next day.

The 9,000 sq.m. complex, thanks to its modern aesthetics, its geographical location and its "green" orientation, has already attracted interest to house many companies both within and outside the Greek borders, with Piraeus Bank and Alpha Bank being among them.

The individual parts of this 'hub' are starting to connect and the area is ready to turn a page towards a new era.
