As a company that designs and manufactures high-performance aluminium systems, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint. We invest in energy efficiency, sustainable raw materials, and the circular economy across all our processes and supply chain, as well as in high-performance technologies.
Responsible waste management is a core pillar of our environmental strategy. We implement prevention, sorting, and recovery processes, aiming to reduce waste generation and maximize material reuse. Through these practices, we strengthen the circular economy and minimize our overall environmental impact.
Responsible energy management is a key pillar of our environmental strategy. We invest in modern technologies and efficient production processes, aiming to reduce energy consumption and improve operational performance. Through continuous monitoring and targeted energy-saving initiatives, we support the transition to a more sustainable industrial model, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions per ton of produced product.
Reducing our environmental footprint is an ongoing priority. We systematically monitor emissions generated by our operations and production activities, implementing practices that contribute to their reduction. In 2025, we achieved a 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions per ton of produced product (Scope 1 & Scope 2) compared to 2021, reinforcing our commitment to continuous environmental improvement and more responsible industrial development. At the same time, we reduced powder consumption per ton of painted product by 21%, enhancing resource efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.
We recognize water as a valuable natural resource and implement responsible water management practices across all our operations. Through consumption monitoring, process optimization and water-saving initiatives, we aim to reduce water use and protect natural resources for future generations. In 2024, we reduced water consumption per ton of produced product by 10% compared to 2023, while systematically monitoring parameters related to water, air and soil quality to ensure high environmental standards.
Circular economy principles are an integral part of our philosophy. We incorporate recycled content into our products and processes, contributing to reduced raw material consumption and more efficient use of valuable resources. In 2025, the use of secondary aluminum reached 23%, strengthening our strategy for more responsible production and a lower environmental footprint.
Environmental responsibility is integrated into every aspect of our operations through structured management systems and clear control procedures. Our commitment is verified through ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for the effective implementation of an Environmental Management System and the continuous improvement of an organization’s environmental performance. At the same time, we invest in material and waste management practices, such as the caustic soda recovery system used for die cleaning, as well as the operation of our wastewater treatment plant, reinforcing a sustainable and responsible production model.
With certified products that meet LEED and BREEAM criteria, ELVIAL participates in high-specification projects, actively contributing to the creation of sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. Our solutions support the principles of modern green building by enhancing energy performance, construction quality and the reduction of environmental impact, while addressing the growing demand for healthier, more comfortable and sustainable built environments.
We invest in the continuous development of our people, ensure safe and supportive working conditions, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and respect. In this way, we create an environment where every employee can grow and contribute meaningfully to our shared journey.
Our commitment to the continuous development of our people is reflected in the strengthening of our training initiatives. In 2025, the total number of training participants reached 1,516, representing a 38% increase compared to 2024, while total training hours more than doubled, reaching 1,505 (+110%). Particularly noteworthy was the significant increase in training across all levels of the organization, with training hours increasing by 113% for Executive Management, 2,291% for Management, 22% for Administrative Employees and 47% for Production Employees.
Through targeted training and skills development programs, we empower our people by enhancing their knowledge, supporting their professional growth and contributing to the company's long-term development.
Health and Safety at work are a non-negotiable priority for us. We implement strict standards, modern prevention systems, and continuous training, ensuring that every employee feels safe in the workplace. Through responsible practices and continuous improvement, we provide a safe and healthy working environment for everyone.
Our commitment to Occupational Health & Safety is further validated through the ISO 45001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for creating safe working environments, reducing occupational risks, and continuously improving operational performance.
Volunteering is an integral part of our corporate culture. We encourage our employees to participate in community support initiatives and other actions that generate real social value. Through collective effort, we contribute to positive change where it is most needed.
Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of our strategy. We aim to create long-term value for both society and the environment through responsible practices, sustainable initiatives, and collaborations that generate value for all stakeholders. In this way, we combine business growth with the sustainable development of the communities in which we operate.
Our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices is also confirmed through the successful completion of the SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) assessment by an accredited external body.
This evaluation further strengthens our position within the supply chain and highlights our continuous dedication to labor practices, business ethics, health and safety, and social responsibility.
At the same time, within the framework of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, we have committed that from 2023 onwards, 2.5% of our pre-tax profits will be invested in initiatives that support society, reinforcing actions with meaningful social impact.
Through training programs, collaborations with educational institutions and internship opportunities, we promote learning, innovation and the professional development of young people, contributing to the creation of a dynamic and sustainable society.
During the period 2024–2026, we hosted 12 educational visits at our facilities, welcoming more than 500 students from Greece and abroad. Through direct exposure to our manufacturing operations and the advanced technologies we employ, we actively contribute to the development of knowledge, skills and practical experience, helping to shape the professionals of tomorrow.
Furthermore, through our international internship program with the University of Texas at Austin, we support the development of future engineering talent by offering students the opportunity to gain practical industry experience, engage with advanced manufacturing technologies and develop skills that enhance their professional readiness in a global environment.
We actively support health and well-being through donations to hospitals, the support of medical programs, initiatives that improve access to healthcare, and volunteering activities such as blood donation drives, contributing to improved quality of life and the strengthening of the public healthcare system.
We invest in cooperation and collective action through partnerships with social organizations and associations, participation in social programs, and support for high-impact initiatives, contributing to improved quality of life and the development of a strong and sustainable society.
